Objectives


The objective of the Bachelor of Nursing Program is to produce middle level nursing providers and leaders who are capable of independent judgment, functioning in a leadership positions in the hospital and community; teaching the junior students and conduct research in areas in of nursing.

Admission Requirements


Candidates must have passed PCL Nursing Program from recognized institutes by securing minimum of 50% marks, must have at least one year of working experience in nursing after getting license to practice from Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) and must pass the entrance examination conducted by Institute of Medicine.


Proficiency Certificate Nursing (PCL) Program


Objectives


The objective of the PCL Nursing Program is to prepare a competent and self-reliant nurse who will be able to care for individuals, groups and communities according to the principles of primary health care.

Admission Requirements


Candidates must passed SLC/SEE level with 50% or above including Mathematics, Health Science, and English with GPA C or above including math, Health, Science and English ) and must pass the entrance examination conducted by Institute of Medicine.


Generic B.Sc. Nursing Program


Objectives


The objective of the Generic B.Sc. Nursing program is to prepare academically sound graduate nurses who are competent to carry out the role of care provider, manager, teacher and researcher in nursing areas.

Admission Requirements


The candidate must have passed I. Sc. or 10+2 securing at least 50% marks in aggregate with major subject such as physics, chemistry and biology. They must pass the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Medicine.


Evaluation System


Internal Assesment:- 20% for theory

Written Assesment:- 80% for theory
